Benjamin Pollock is CEO at Jasper Capital Hong Kong Limited. In this role he oversees the daily operations of the firm and the strategic development of Jasper Capital's offshore business. He was formerly Head of Business Development and Investor Relations at Jasper Capital Hong Kong Limited. Prior to joining Jasper Capital in March 2017, Mr. Pollock was Senior Vice President at CEBM Group, a Shanghai-headquartered macroeconomic research and consultancy firm. Prior to CEBM, Mr. Pollock spent over five years living in China where he studied China’s real estate sector and macroeconomy as a Property Sector Research Analyst at Cushman Wakefield (previously known as DTZ). Mr. Pollock holds a dual master’s degree in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and Nanjing University and a bachelor’s degree from Providence College.

PETER YE

Head of Trading & Senior Portfolio Manager

Responsible Officer, Senior Portfolio Manager, Head of Trading

Mr. Ye is a responsible officer, senior portfolio manager and head of trading at Jasper Capital Hong Kong Limited. He has over seven years of experience in quantitative investment research and portfolio management in the China A-share market. Before joining Jasper Capital Hong Kong Limited, Mr. Ye was an integral part of the Jasper Capital International investment team, where he served multiple positions including trader, head of trading/IT, and portfolio manager. He co-developed multiple proprietary investment signals and co-managed multiple quantitative funds with AUM of up to ~RMB8Bn. Before joining Jasper Capital International, he was a senior researcher at Bond Trust, where he developed various quantitative strategies. Mr. Ye holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in computer science from Sun Yat-Sen University.

Irina Zhu

Chief Marketing Officer

Irina Zhu is Head of Business Development at Jasper Capital Hong Kong Limited, with over 15+ years of experience in Sales. Prior to joining Jasper Capital Hong Kong in July 2022, Irina served as the Head of Institutional Sales and Managing Director for GaoTeng International Asset Management Co., Ltd. Prior to GaoTeng, Irina served as a Marketing Director & General Manager of Southern China at Essence International Financial Co., Ltd., and Project Manager of Southern China at IBM. Irina holds a M.B.A from San Yat-Sen University and a Bachelor of Management from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.

Chengjie Wang

Portfolio Manager

Chengjie Wang is a portfolio manager at Jasper Capital. He has a decade of quantitative investment and research experience, having previously worked at Millennium Capital Management (Hong Kong) Limited and several of China’s largest quantitative hedge funds. His expertise lies in intraday quantitative research on price and volume factors, as well as the development of non-linear models, where he has successfully managed investment strategies and funds. He holds a Master’s Degree in Probability Theory and Statistics from the Ocean University of China.

Kathy Weng

Head of Operations

Kathy Weng has over 12 years of compliance experience and she was the fund operation manager and compliance manager at Jasper Capital International before transferred to JCHK in June 2023. Prior to joining JCI, she was the senior compliance officer at PING AN Trust Co. Ltd., overseeing the compliance practices in house. Prior to PING AN Trust Co. Ltd., Kathy served as assistant manager of compliance at Hang Seng bank. Kathy holds the master of Economics degree from the University of Hong Kong and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Zhejiang University.
